Doctors rush to Putin's bedside after complaints of severe nausea: Report

Russian President’s doctors rush to his bedside following complaints of ‘severe nausea’. Here’s more on Putin’s health condition.

Putin complained of severe nausea

According to a report, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s doctors rushed to his bedside last weekend after he complained of severe nausea. The 69-year-old had a late-night health scare requiring “urgent medical care” forcing his paramedic team to call for additional aid. According to General SVR, a popular Russian Telegram channel, additional doctors rushed to the president and the emergency lasted for about three hours. “Putin on the night of Friday, July 22 to Saturday, July 23 needed urgent medical care. At about 1 am, the medical workers on duty at his residence were summoned to the president,” stated the channel.

“Putin complained of severe nausea. Twenty minutes later, an additional team of doctors with the president’s attending physicians was called,” it added. The report also reveals Putin’s health considerably improved after receiving medical assistance. Certain claims suggest the Telegram channel is allegedly run using the pseudonym ‘Vikor Mikhailovich” by a former Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) lieutenant general. Additionally, the Telegram channel reveals, that in the coming weeks, the President “will be replaced by a double”. It claims the possibility of Russia using deep-fake tech for upcoming events.

More on speculations about President’s health condition

Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, speculations around Putin’s health condition and ailments are intensifying. Several recent public appearances reveal the President with a puffy face, shaking and unsteady. During Russia’s Victory Day parade in May, he was pictured huddled under a blanket and coughing.

The new claims follow on the heels of Willian Burns, the CIA chief dismissing speculations of Putin suffering from Parkinson’s or cancer. “There are lots of rumors about President Putin’s health and as far as we can tell he’s entirely too healthy,” stated Burns.

Additionally, the Kremlin dismissed the claims revealing Putin was in good health. “Everything is fine with his health. You know that Ukrainian information specialists, and American and British ones, have been throwing out various fakes about the state of the president’s health in recent months. These are nothing but fakes,” stated Dmitry Peskov, a kremlin spokesperson in a briefing.
