Bird apparently poops on Joe Biden during his inflation speech in Iowa

In the town of Menlo, Iowa, President Biden’s day took a humorous turn when a bird pooped on him. It was while Biden was speaking to a crowd about his plan to aid Americans coping with skyrocketing inflation.

The President is on a “rural infrastructure tour”. He announced on Tuesday that his administration is suspending a federal rule that prohibits the sale of E15 gasoline during the summer to contain rising fuel prices. They have been exacerbated in part by the fallout from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Senator Chuck Grassley and Governor Kim Reynolds were among those who applauded the announcement, which received a standing ovation in Menlo Park. Iowa is a major ethanol producer and, for the time being, a vital early primary state in presidential elections. Mr. Biden is also taking advantage of his tour to promote the benefits of the newly passed infrastructure plan for rural towns.

Despite the positive response from speech attendees in Iowa, Mr. Biden’s first visit to the state since being the US President in November 2020 wasn’t without flaws.

According to Fox News, the event occurred inside a “giant barn,” as Mr. Biden described it. Later, a White House official allegedly explained that the substance was “corn,” not bird poop. Twitter users, on the other hand, exploited the video to make jokes about suspected bird droppings.

Mr. Biden also ratcheted up his rhetoric against Russian President Vladimir Putin during his speech, accusing him of “genocide”. The term seems to be used for the first time by the Biden administration against Russia.

“Your family budget, your ability to fill up your tank, none of us should hinge on whether a dictator declares war and commits genocide a half a world away,” Mr. Biden said.
