World’s top 10 most powerful passports revealed

World's top 10 most powerful passports revealed

Japan and Singapore have been ranked as the most powerful passports. Their citizens can travel visa-free to 192 destinations, according to citizenship planning firm Henley & Partners. Germany and South Korea ranked second on the list. Afghanistan ranked the lowest.

Here are the world’s top 10 most powerful passports

  • Japan and Singapore – Japan and Singapore redeemed first place on the list. Passport owners from these countries are eligible for visa-free travel to 192 countries.
  • Germany and South Korea – Sharing the second spot for the most powerful passports. Germany and South Korea passport holders certainly have authorization to travel to 190 countries without obtaining a visa.
  • Finland, Italy, Luxembourg and Spain – These European holiday destinations tie for third place on the list. However making it simple for citizens of these nations to travel. They can tour 189 countries without a visa.
  • Austria, Denmark, France and Netherlands – France and the Netherlands each jump one place to join Austria and Denmark at number four, with visa-free access to 188 countries.
  • Ireland and Portugal – Citizens of Ireland and Portugal do not need to obtain a visa to travel to 187 countries.
  • Belgium, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the United States – These six provinces are in tie for sixth place on the list. Citizens of these countries can visit 186 countries without a visa.
  • Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Greece and Malta – Australia and Canada move up one spot, enlisting the countries on the seventh spot. People from these five countries can travel to 185 countries without a visa.
  • Hungary and Poland – Hungary moves up two spots, while Poland certainly raises three places to seventh place. Moreover, people from these two territories have visa-free access to 184 countries.
  • Lithuania and Slovakia – Meanwhile citizens of Lithuania and Slovakia have the right to travel visa-free to 182 countries.
  • Estonia, Latvia and Slovenia – Estonia, Latvia, and Slovakia were all ranked tenth on the list of powerful passport countries. However, passport holders from these countries can travel to 181 countries without a visa.
