His company, Damac, had partnered with the Trump Organization to build a branded golf course in Dubai. Recently, he has once again drawn attention following the announcement of a $20 billion investment in U.S.-based data centers—an initiative praised by President Donald Trump.
Speaking at a joint press conference in January at Mar-a-Lago, Trump said the investment would support large-scale data center developments across the Midwest and Sun Belt regions. He emphasized that the project would help maintain America’s edge in AI and tech innovation.
The first phase of development, Trump added, would cover Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Texas. Sajwani noted that the investment could exceed $20 billion, depending on market opportunities.
