Serbian influencer Stefan Janković found himself in an unnerving situation when he stumbled upon a bear’s den—only to come face-to-face with the massive animal upon its return. The harrowing encounter was captured in two video clips, which Janković later shared on social media, leaving viewers stunned by his calm demeanor in the face of danger.
A bear in its den: The first encounter
In the first video, Janković sits inside the den as the bear stands just outside, its powerful frame blocking the exit. The curious animal sniffs the air, trying to figure out who—or what—had invaded its territory. Despite the looming threat, Janković remains still, watching as the bear inches closer, assessing the situation.
The bold exit: face-to-face with the beast
In the second clip, Janković bravely steps out of the den and finds himself standing next to the bear. The creature sniffs his head and even inspects his cell phone, seemingly unfazed by the influencer’s presence. Janković continues his adventure, climbing a tree as two more bears arrive on the scene. One bear is seen clawing at the tree’s base, while the other looks up at him, curious about the unexpected visitor. Influencer’s reaction to the close call
“You won’t believe what happened to me,” Janković says in the video, recounting his terrifying ordeal. “You won’t believe what happened to me,” said Janovic, in the video.
“I spend 24 hours in the forest, and a bear attacks me. It’s waiting for me, and there’s another one,” he added.
While Janković doesn’t explain how he ended up in such a perilous situation, the video, titled “On the Edge of Life,” has taken social media by storm, amassing over 100,000 views on X (formerly Twitter) and sparking widespread discussion.
