Queen Elizabeth II attended the final day of the extravagant celebration of her Platinum Jubilee. She attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show on Thursday afternoon.

On her arrival at the castle arena on the last day of the Royal Windsor Horse Show, the Queen was met with a standing ovation. She was then carefully escorted to her seat in the Royal Box and sat alongside close friends of the royals.

The 96-years-old has been attending the Royal Windsor Horse Show since it began in 1943.

Some notable celebrities like Helen Mirren, Katherine Jenkins, and Tom Cruise also attended the event.

“It’s a wonderful event, I’m very honored to be here, it’s a privilege. She’s just a woman that I greatly admire. I think she’s someone who has tremendous dignity and I admire her devotion. What she’s accomplished has been historic,” says Cruise before the event.

The monarch had to forcefully cancel several engagements in the last few months from the State Opening of Parliament to the annual reading of the Queen’s Speech.

But the royal family has maintained that despite these small cancellations due to the ‘episodic’ mobility issues, the Queen is in high spirits and holding the reigns behind the scene.
