A woman from the United Kingdom took to TikTok and appealed for the internet’s assistance in solving the riddle of her iPhone’s alarm. Angele Sofia alleges in a series of videos that she has been harassed by an alarm at 9:25 a.m. every day, despite the fact that she never set it. Apple employees are baffled by the unusual bug. “Am I going to die at 9:25 in the morning?” In the video, Angele Sofia wrote: “Basically, I have an alarm that goes off every morning at 9:25 a.m., without fail,” she explained in the video. “And I do not have an alarm set at 9:25, nor have I ever had an alarm set at 9:25 a.m.”
Purchasing a new iPhone does not resolve the issue; the flaw continues to “haunt” every phone she purchases
The woman claimed that the problem arose “out of nowhere” four or five years ago. She recounted, “I was like, I didn’t know I set an alarm.” She even looked at her phone to see if she had any alerts set. “Every day since, I have had an alarm go off at 9:25.” What could be more bizarre? The alarm only sounds when her phone is not on quiet, and it only sounds once, rather than the regular function of sounding until the user taps stop or snoozes. Purchasing a new iPhone does not resolve the issue; the flaw continues to “haunt” every phone she purchases. According to the woman, “no single Apple employee can seem to figure it out.”
She sought assistance from social media. A member of the community remarked, “Try adding one at 9:25 and then turn it off and delete it!” “I FIGURED IT OUT!!” said another person. Go to the health app>sleep>full schedule & options>edit complete schedule>scroll down>delete schedule.” “It’s your sleep schedule,” a third user offered. Which is called ‘ sleep | wake up’ at the top of your screen. And your alarm is labelled ‘no alarm’. “I know I’m correct.”
The woman refuses to use the factory reset feature
Ms Sofia stated that after attempting all of the solutions, none of them were effective. She tried uninstalling the clock, calendar, reminders, and all the apps from which the alarm could originate before rebooting, but nothing worked. “I genuinely think at this point there’s nothing I can do,” she said. The woman refuses to use the factory reset feature. She said, “Number one, the 9:25 alarm is not bad enough to lose everything I have.” She added, “Number two if I factory reset the alarm wins.”
