Donald Trump’s ‘debt’ had risen to $464,788,371.70 as of the time of writing, according to a tracking website, ‘Trump debt counter’, set up by democratic strategist and journalist Johnny Palmadessa. This comes after the former president’s New York civil fraud trial verdict was finalized on Friday, with the 77-year-old ordered to pay more than $454 million in fines and interest.
Palmadessa shared the link to his portal on X, the platform that was previously known as Twitter, and asked his followers to ‘ repost this to help me spread the word’. The website (https://trumpdebtcounter.com) not only keeps track of Trump’s fines but also features some of his ‘confused’ moments and quotes from top Republican politicians urging voters not to vote for him.
According to Donald Trump’s fraud verdict, the New York County Clerk begins the appeals process for the GOP front-runner. According to a spokesperson for New York Attorney General Letitia James, who brought the case, the debt generates nearly $112,000 in post-judgment interest per day.
