After going topless at the White House, transgender model, and TikTok influencer Rose Montoya received a ton of online criticism. The Biden administration hosted the biggest Pride celebration in history by bringing thousands of members of the LGBTQ community to the Southern Lawn to observe Pride Month.
President Joe Biden along with First Lady Jill Biden hosted a Pride Month event on Saturday.
Rose Montoya said on TikTok that she had received an invitation to the White House to attend the festival. She provided viewers with a detailed account of the occasion, including a speech by the Biden administration, celebrations, and a meeting with the president. She also unexpectedly showed up topless on the White House lawn with other LGBTQ individuals.
Internet celebrity and conservative political commentator Charlie Kirk uploaded an altered video of statements that were delivered at the gathering while attacking Rose Montoya. Biden was heard saying in the video:
“Happy Pride Month,” “Happy Pride Year! Happy Pride Life,” “transgender children,” “you are heard,” “you are understood,” “and you belong” and “you are the bravest and most inspiring people I have ever known.”
Who is Rose Montoya?
According to her official bio, In the 10th grade, Montoya came out as attracted to guys. She continued to perform drag in college as she gained support, and in 2015 she came out as transgender. The next year, she revealed she was bisexual. She then came out as nonbinary in 2019 and currently uses the pronouns she, her, hers, and they/them, their, theirs.
The Seattle University alumnus has worked on a number of blockbuster motion pictures, including Agent of Change, TomboyX, Yandy, and The Q Agenda.
Rose Montoya, who has 103K Instagram followers, is also a nominee for the Out 100 along with Symone, Elvira, and Elliot Page. She was also nominated for Favorite TikToker at the 10th Annual Queerty Awards.
She has worked with numerous companies and groups, including Fluide Beauty, TikTok, Instagram, Planned Parenthood, and others.
“Going topless in Washington DC is legal. And I fully support the movement in freeing the nipple because why is my chest now deemed inappropriate or illegal when I show it off however, before coming off as trans, it was not? All you’re doing is affirming that I am a woman. All you’re doing is saying trans women are women.”
Montoya said by emphasizing that she had no desire to come across as crude.
