Who is Kamelia Enzler? Seattle fitness coach charged in Tesla vandalism case

Seattle woman faces charges after keying Tesla in parking lot altercation

A 55-year-old woman, Kamelia Enzler, from Seattle, is facing criminal charges after a video showing her keying a Tesla went viral on social media, sparking widespread criticism, including from Elon Musk himself.

The incident took place on March 20 in the parking lot of Issaquah Commons, a shopping center near Seattle. In the footage, originally shared by journalist Jonathan Choe, the woman, later identified as 55-year-old Kamelia Enzler, can be seen stepping out of her Toyota 4Runner, exchanging brief words with the Tesla driver, and then deliberately scratching the parked Tesla Model Y with her car keys before walking away.

Issaquah police have confirmed that Enzler has been charged with malicious mischief in the third degree, a criminal offense in Washington state.

Although the act of vandalism comes amid a broader trend of attacks on Teslas, often speculated to be politically charged due to CEO Elon Musk’s controversial public stances, police say this specific altercation does not appear to be politically motivated, according to the Daily Mail. Investigators are treating it as a road rage incident.

According to Choe, the Tesla driver had a child in the back seat and was reversing out of a parking spot when Enzler allegedly gestured rudely before approaching the car.

Who is Kamelia Enzler?

Kamelia Enzler is a fitness coach and the owner of iPeak Fitness, a Seattle-based health and wellness company, according to public business records. Following the backlash from the viral video, Enzler has removed her presence from LinkedIn and other social media platforms.

She is married to Jeff Enzler, a senior software engineer at DocuSign, where he has worked for over a decade. The couple lives in Bellevue, Washington—a picturesque suburb of Seattle known for its lakes and green spaces. They purchased their home in 1998 for $280,000, and the property is now reportedly valued at $1.5 million, according to the Daily Mail.
