Woman stabs airport staff with pencil, bites victim in shocking incident
A woman allegedly stripped naked, bit a person, and stabbed two staff members with a pencil at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, Texas. The woman, identified as Samantha Palma, reportedly suffered a “manic episode” on March 14, TMZ reported.
A video of the chaotic incident has gone viral on social media. In the footage, she can be seen shouting and hurling insults at security guards.
Palma, who referred to herself as the ‘goddess Venus,’ attacked a restaurant manager at the airport, stabbing him in the head and face with his own pencil as he tried to restrain her.
She then bit him on his right forearm, causing “immediate bruising.”
As stunned travelers watched and filmed the scene, she threw water into the air and danced wildly.
Violent outburst shocks onlookers
At one point, a woman offered her a coat, prompting Palma to squeal and flee, shouting profanities at strangers before smashing a display television.
She then repeatedly hurled her phone at another screen and damaged an airport monitor before slipping behind an emergency door. Security personnel eventually subdued and arrested her.
According to the complaint, police found Palma hiding behind an emergency door at Gate D1 of Terminal D, covered in blood that did not belong to her.
Bizarre statements during arrest
Palma reportedly told officers she “wanted to be with the flowers” and believed she was “in a forest” when she was handcuffed. She also claimed she was “going to heaven” and had come “from hell.”
She identified herself as multiple Disney princesses, including Ariel and Pocahontas, and admitted she was traveling with her 8-year-old daughter.
She also told officers that she and her daughter arrived at the airport in a car she had “manifested.” Despite her erratic behavior, she insisted she had no intention of harming herself or others.
During questioning, Palma admitted she had skipped her medication that day. However, authorities did not disclose the type of medication she was prescribed.
She was initially placed on a mental health hold and now faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
