Watch: Aliens 'trying to send us a message about nuclear weapons' says former US army official

A former US Army official has sparked intrigue and debate by suggesting that extraterrestrial beings are attempting to send humanity a warning about nuclear weapons. Speaking at a recent UFO hearing in Congress, ex-Army weapons controller and drone pilot Robert Salas claimed that aliens are delivering a blunt three-word message regarding nuclear arsenals: “WTF, nuclear weapons.”

“To me, that says they were sending us a message about nuclear weapons – ‘WTF, nuclear weapons.”

In a video circulating on social media, Salas is seen in conversation with Congressman Nancy Mace during a UFO hearing. The footage, captured by the Total Disclosure Podcast, shows the two seated in a meeting room alongside others who also testified at the event.

Salas highlighted repeated instances of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) being sighted near military and nuclear facilities worldwide. Notably, he emphasized that these encounters, while unsettling, have never caused direct harm to nuclear weapons systems. At most, Salas noted, these unidentified craft have interfered with navigation systems.

When asked why these extraterrestrial encounters occur without inflicting damage, Salas speculated: “To me, that says they were sending us a message about nuclear weapons – ‘WTF, nuclear weapons.’” He then apologized for his choice of words, acknowledging that his language was not entirely appropriate for the congressional setting.

UFOs and nuclear sites: A longstanding connection

Salas’ claims align with a broader narrative frequently discussed among UFO researchers. Reports of UFOs hovering near military and nuclear bases are not new, with some experts suggesting these visits are a form of monitoring or silent protest against nuclear proliferation.

Renowned UFO expert Robert Hastings recently weighed in on this phenomenon, asserting that extraterrestrials have visited “every major nuclear missile base” multiple times over the decades. Speaking to News Now, Hastings said, “From the missile bases operational in the ’60s and ’70s to those still in operation today, these sites have been visited repeatedly, year after year, according to the sources I’ve interviewed.”

The UFO hearing is the latest in a string of high-profile events bringing attention to unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs). During a Congressional Oversight Committee hearing earlier this year, several officials accused the US government of withholding evidence of extraterrestrial visitors and unidentified objects.

Adding fuel to the fire, the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) disclosed that over 20 UAP incidents reported in the past year remain unexplained.

A growing conversation

While the government has yet to confirm the existence of extraterrestrial life officially, the testimony of individuals like Salas continues to captivate public interest. His assertion that UFOs are sending humanity a stark message about the dangers of weapons has reignited debates on global security and the possibility of extraterrestrial intervention.

As the hearings unfold and more officials come forward, the world is left to wonder: Are we alone in the universe, or are we being watched—and warned?
