Tyson Foods recalls 'dinosaur chicken nuggets due to metal contamination

The USFDA stated on Saturday that Tyson Foods has recalled containers of their “Fun Nuggets” or the dinosaur chicken nuggets line of chicken nuggets.

Customers stated that the dinosaur-shaped nuggets were tainted with “metal pieces.” One mild mouth injury was noted in the recall announcement.

The implicated products were manufactured on September 5 and bear the establishment label P-7211. Approximately 16,500 packages were transported to wholesalers in Alabama, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin for distribution to shops.

The USDA stated that a list of stores that received the chicken will be posted on its recall website.

The recall affected 29,819 pounds of the kid-friendly chicken with a use-by date of September 4, 2024, according to the recall notification. The lot codes for these packages are as follows:
