FBI offers $25,000 reward for woman wanted in connection with death of 6-year-old son
Dallas, TX — The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has announced a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Cindy Rodriguez-Singh, who is wanted for the murder of her 6-year-old son, Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez. Reports have suggested that Singh believed her son was “evil, possessed or [had] a demon in him.”
Indictment and charges
In October 2023, a Tarrant County grand jury indicted Rodriguez-Singh on capital murder charges and additional offenses related to the disappearance of her son, who was reported missing in 2022.
International efforts to locate Rodriguez-Singh
Dallas FBI Special Agent in Charge Chad Yarbrough revealed on Thursday morning that the FBI has been collaborating with international partners and government agencies overseas in an ongoing effort to locate Rodriguez-Singh. The child’s stepfather, Arshdeep Singh, purchased one-way plane tickets to India for Rodriguez-Singh and her other children just days after Noel was reported missing.
Continuous commitment to the case
“The work on this case has never stopped,” said Everman Police Chief Craig Spencer. “It means a lot to our community.”
Both Yarbrough and Spencer expressed hope that the reward would generate additional leads on Rodriguez-Singh’s whereabouts. Spencer emphasized that the primary goal is to seek justice for Noel.
“There have been many failures with this child, starting with this family…which is why we’re here today to seek justice on those failures,” he stated.
Timeline of disappearance
Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez was last seen in November 2022, but his family did not report him missing until five months later in March 2023. An Amber Alert was issued for him on March 25, 2023.
In November 2023, over a year after Noel’s disappearance, the City of Everman honored him by opening a new inclusive park dedicated to his memory.
Physical description of Rodriguez-Singh
Rodriguez-Singh, 39, is described as being between 5’1″ to 5’3″ tall, and weighing 120 to 140 pounds. She has a medium complexion, brown eyes, and brown hair. Distinguishing features include tattoos on her back, both legs, right arm, right hand, and right calf.
