In Texas, a mother and stepfather were arrested for tying down and tattooing their two children. According to an arrest affidavit acquired by KTRE on Tuesday (April 25), the parents-Megan Mae Farr, 27, and Gunner Farr, 23, of Zavalla-tied down their children, aged nine and five, and tattooed them. According to the affidavit, one child had a tattoo on their foot and the other on their shoulder. Megan Farr was charged with two charges of child endangerment and unlawful restraint. Gunner Farr, on the other hand, was charged with one count of child abuse and one count of unlawful restraint. They each have a bond of $35,000 in total.
The children’s biological father and stepmother noticed the tattoos and inquired about them
As the tattoos were being applied, the parents tied the youngsters down with a rope and covered their mouths and eyes with a rag. According to the affidavit, the parents attempted to conceal the tattoos by cutting, scraping, and cleaning the inked regions. They even tried wiping lemon juice on the ink to erase it. When Child Protective Services (CPS) became involved in the case, tattoos were covered up. The children’s biological father and stepmother noticed the tattoos and inquired about them with Megan Farr. Farr, on the other hand, chuckled (about the incident), and the incident was then reported to the CPS, according to the report.
The youngsters were in the care of the Child Protective Services. Chief Lieutenant James Denby of the Zavalla Police Department stated that forensic interviews were conducted with the youngsters and that many details from these interviews were utilized in the inquiry. Denby stated that the investigators were given a tattoo kit. “A woman came forward and turned in a tattoo kit that she claimed Gunner had borrowed to perform tattoos.” “She had no idea it was going to be done on a child,” the police chief explained.
