The user, identified as Jannabamma, posted a video holding a bowl containing both the chicken fries and the cannabis. “She got her chicken fries. Chicken fries with a side of…” she said, gesturing to the meal on a plate, clearly baffled by the discovery.
In the caption accompanying the TikTok, she added, “Cannot make this up. I didn’t ask for a side of this.”
Burger King takes immediate action
Burger King responded promptly to the incident, confirming that the employee responsible had been terminated.
“We contacted the franchisee of this restaurant immediately upon learning of this incident and can confirm that the employee in question has been terminated,” a Burger King spokesperson said in a statement.
“We were very disappointed to learn of the incident and do not take incidents that put our guests in danger lightly.”
Though no formal police report has been filed, local authorities are investigating. The Hamilton Police Department confirmed they are “actively investigating the incident.”
