Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and ‘X’, has accused the US Joe Biden government of “importing voters” and “creating a national security threat”. Musk also stated that it is “highly probable that the groundwork is being laid for something far worse than 9/11” – a reference to Al-Qaeda’s September 2001 terror strikes that killed over 3,000 people.
Musk made the comments while posting a screenshot of a Daily Mail piece from his X account today. The headline said something like this: “Biden administration admits flying 320,000 migrants secretly into the US to reduce the number of crossing at the border has national security ‘vulnerabilities'” .
In the accompanying post, Musk wrote, “This administration is both importing voters and creating a national security threat from unvetted illegal immigrants. It is highly probable that the groundwork is being laid for something far worse than 9/11. Just a matter of time.”
Tesla CEO’s latest clash with US President escalates beyond mere jibes
The Tesla CEO is not a fan of the US president, and the two have frequently swapped jibes. But, this is a much more serious charge and is likely to spark a row.
Musk has previously accused the Biden administration of prejudice against Tesla and said that US electric vehicle legislation favors competitors like General Motors, who have unionized workforces. “This isn’t the friendliest administration. “It appears to be controlled by unions,” Musk stated in 2021.
Last year, the White House condemned Musk for promoting a “hideous” anti-Semitic conspiracy theory.
Previously, in 2022, Musk referred to Biden as “a damp sock puppet in human form” when the White House passed him up for a summit of business leaders. Months later, when asked about the Tesla CEO’s gloomy prognosis for the US economy, Biden remarked “lots of luck on his trip to the Moon” – NASA has chosen Musk SpaceX to build a lander for a Moon trip.
