A bizarre incident unfolded in Evansville, Indiana, as a Louisville woman was arrested following her attempts to steal multiple cars, including one with a child inside. The woman, identified as 28-year-old Ricki Smith, claimed that she was acting under the telepathic instructions of famed musician Kanye West.
The incident occurred on Friday, causing quite a stir outside a business establishment. According to NBC reports, Smith tried to enter several vehicles in a nearby parking lot, alarming bystanders and prompting immediate police intervention.

One eyewitness reported that Smith found an unlocked vehicle and sat in the driver’s seat, refusing to leave despite pleas from bystanders. The situation took a critical turn when Smith entered another car just moments later. This car belonged to a woman who had briefly stepped away, leaving it unlocked with her child in the back seat.
Upon returning and seeing Smith in her car, the mother, fearing for her child’s safety, grabbed Smith by the hair and forcibly removed her from the vehicle. Local reports indicate that the car owner intends to press charges against Smith.
