Americans will celebrate Independence Day with barbeques, fireworks, and a day off from work for many. The Fourth of July commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Freedom in 1776, which marked the beginning of American freedom. July 4th will fall on Tuesday this year.
Here is a list of what will be open and closed on July 4th

Most big supermarkets, including Kroger (KR) and Walmart, will remain open as usual. Target (TGT) will also be open during regular business hours.
According to the firm, Trader Joe’s outlets will close at 5 p.m. on July 4th.
Wholesale retailers, on the other hand, will be closed or operating on alternate hours. Costco will be closed. Sam’s Club will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for plus members and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for club members.

Online banking and ATMs will be available as usual.
Postal services
The United States Postal Service will be closed on Tuesday and will not deliver mail.
Normal FedEx services will be unavailable. FedEx Office, on the other hand, will be open with modified hours, as will FedEx Custom Critical. Except for UPS Express Critical, all United Postal Service operations will be closed.
