‘I hate Trump passionately’: Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson reveals

Trump

Fox News presenter and American television broadcaster Tucker Carlson abhor former president Donald Trump with fiery hatred. The $1.6 billion defamation case brought against Fox News by Dominion Voting Systems contained hundreds of pages of court documents, and on Tuesday, March 7, private text conversations that made reference to this came to light. Carlson, who frequently lauded Trump on Fox News, suddenly despises him. Private text texts reveal how fiercely critical of Trump the television star was.

Carlson also said that Trump’s post-election behavior was abhorrent and that he was trying to turn a blind eye

“I hate him (Trump) passionately. … I can’t handle much more of this,” Carlson said in a text to an unnamed colleague on January 4, 2021, two days before the Capitol attack. Moreover, Carlson claimed that Trump’s choice to skip Joe Biden’s inauguration was extremely damaging a talk from November 2020. According to CNN on Wednesday, Carlson also said that Trump’s post-election behavior was abhorrent and that he was trying to turn a blind eye.

On Trump’s presidency, Carlson said “That’s the last four years. We’re all pretending we’ve got a lot to show for it because admitting what a disaster it’s been is too tough to digest. But come on. There isn’t really an upside to Trump.” During the 2020 presidential election, Fox News audience was allegedly exposed to false allegations of election tampering, which Dominion alleges caused harm to the voting corporation and American institutions.

The news outlet denied any slander and charged Dominion Voting Systems of deceit. According to a statement, Fox News said that the voting firm was “red-handed” when it was found utilising additional fabrications and falsehoods in its PR effort to tarnish the channel and violate press freedoms, according to a report by Global News on Wednesday. “We already know they will say and do anything to try to win this case, but to twist and even misattribute quotes to the highest levels of our company is truly beyond the pale,” Fox News added.
