Following the gunfight, the teenager was fatally shot shortly after 11 pm on Saturday, according to the outlet, citing the law enforcement agency. The officers were dispatched to the house after receiving a “frantic” 911 call from Rebecca Ann Themelis. She informed the operator that her son had shot her husband. Upon their arrival, the officers instructed the woman to walk towards them. However, the teenager brutally shot her in the back of the head while she was on the lawn and then fired at the officers.

In the video posted on Facebook, an officer can be heard yelling at the teenager, “Stop reaching for your waistband.” During the crossfire, deputy Shane McGough, 26, was shot in the leg, as authorities informed the Post. After receiving emergency medical care, Mr. McGough was quickly transported to a local hospital. Christos was also seriously injured during the gunfire exchange. He managed to crawl back into the house and barricaded himself. When the sheriff’s SWAT team entered the residence, they discovered Christos and his father deceased. The teenager is believed to have succumbed to the injuries he sustained during the shoot-out.
