First images of cocaine discovered inside the White House released

The Daily Mail got images of cocaine recovered inside the White House in July via a Freedom of Information Act request from the Secret Service. Notably, on July 2, Secret Service officials discovered a suspicious white substance in a publicly accessible location of the West Wing, requiring a brief evacuation of the facility. Fire and rescue services responded to do rapid testing on the substance, and early studies confirmed that the powder was cocaine. Notably, President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, a rehabilitated crack cocaine addict, were at Camp David at the time the material was discovered.

Investigators were unable to pinpoint when the bag of cocaine was placed in the cubby at the West Wing’s lower entrance

According to The New York Post, the Secret Service ended its investigation into the matter on July 14 and declared that they had “not been unable to identify a suspect” because neither fingerprints nor DNA were detected on the little bag. ”Without tangible evidence, the inquiry will be unable to identify a person of interest among the hundreds of people who passed through the vestibule where the cocaine was located,” the Secret Service said in a statement. The FBI lab tests on the box revealed “insufficient DNA” and were unable to retrieve any fingerprints, according to the Secret Service.

Investigators were unable to pinpoint when the bag of cocaine was placed in the cubby at the West Wing’s lower entrance. It is worth noting that the cubby is near the entrance to the West Wing, where the majority of presidential business is conducted, and “where staff-led tours of the White House pass on their way into the West Wing.” Meanwhile, a source claims that someone conducting a tour of the White House may have left the bag of cocaine behind. Former US President Donald Trump blasted Joe Biden and his son at the time, stating that it was for their benefit. ”Does anyone really believe that the COCAINE discovered in the West Wing of the White House, extremely close to the Oval Office, is for use by anyone other than Hunter and Joe Biden?” he said on his social media platform Truth Social.
