Errol Musk makes controversial claim about the former first lady
Errol Musk, the father of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, has made a bizarre allegation against former First Lady Michelle Obama, whose name has recently surfaced in rumors about Barack Obama’s alleged affair with Jennifer Aniston.
A video of Errol Musk endorsing the conspiracy theory that Michelle Obama is a man has gone viral on social media.
On February 13, 2025, X user @WojPawelczyk posted a clip from a podcast interview, where the host suggested, “Michelle Obama is a man.”
In response, Musk’s father agreed, saying:
“Of course. You don’t know that?… Joan Rivers mentioned it publicly. And she was dead two weeks later.”
Errol Musk then added:
“You can look it up on any Internet thing. Michelle Obama is a man.”
His comments revived a conspiracy theory from 2014, when comedian Joan Rivers joked about Michelle Obama’s gender, also claiming that Barack Obama is gay.
The conspiracy theory and Joan Rivers’ death
In 2014, Rivers made controversial remarks during an interaction with a reporter at a New York City bookstore. When asked if the U.S. would ever have a gay president, she responded:
“We already have it with Obama, so let’s just calm down.”
She then continued:
“You know Michelle is a tranny.”
When the reporter asked her to clarify, Rivers doubled down, saying:
“A transgender. We all know.”
Weeks later, on September 4, 2014, Joan Rivers passed away at the age of 81 in a New York City hospital. The New York City medical examiner later confirmed that she suffered brain damage due to lack of oxygen, but conspiracy theorists linked her death to her remarks about the Obamas.
Internet reacts to Errol Musk’s claims
Errol Musk’s statements have sparked mixed reactions on social media.
One X user demanded proof, saying:
“NEED MORE EVIDENCE. SHOW IT TO ME.”
Another commented on Errol’s appearance, saying:
“Errol looks decent for his age.”
A third user dismissed his claims, writing:
“Whatever he has to say, I don’t think we need to hear from this one.”
A fourth user questioned why Errol Musk was even discussing this, stating:
“The man is no longer in office, so why this? You don’t have anything positive to do with your life?”
No evidence supports the claim
Despite the viral claims, there is no evidence to suggest that Michelle Obama is transgender or that Joan Rivers’ death was related to her comments. The conspiracy theory remains baseless and unverified.
