Jean Carroll may sue Donald Trump.

Trump’s interview in the CNN town hall has garnered condemnation. He was yet again heard demeaning and insulting Carroll. The former President called her account of sexual assault a “made-up story” and “fake”. Additionally, he referred to it as “hanky panky”. Trump’s disparaging remarks received several comments and laughter from the audience primarily made up of Republican and independent voters.

“It’s just stupid, it’s just disgusting, vile, foul, it wounds people. I am upset on behalf of young men in America. They cannot listen to this balderdash and this old-timey view of women, which is a cave-man view,” stated Carroll to the New York Times. Referring to the possibility of a lawsuit, Roberta Kaplan, her lawyer stated they “have to give serious consideration to it.” “We have to weigh the various pros and cons and we’ll come to a decision in the next day or so, probably,” added Kaplan.
