The Black Dog pub in London has shot to popularity after Taylor Swift supposedly referenced it on her new album.
The day Swift launched ‘The Tortured Poets Department‘, Google searches for ‘The Black Dog’ skyrocketed, exceeding even Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, and the London Eye.

Despite being a common name for British pubs, the Vauxhall business is the most popular on TripAdvisor, prompting fans to believe that it is the pub that Swift alludes to in the lyrics of her songs.
Swift sings, “Your location / You forgot to turn it off / And so I watch as you walk / Into some bar called The Black Dog.”
“I just don’t understand … How you don’t miss me in The Black Dog / When someone plays The Starting Line / And you jump up, but she’s too young to know this song / That was intertwined in the magic fabric of our dreaming / Old habits die screaming.”
‘The Black Dog’, located at 112 Vauxhall Walk, is a traditional British pub that radiates homey charm during the day and transforms into a bustling hotspot at night.
Following the album’s release, the pub changed its Instagram bio to “home to tortured poets @taylorswift.”
