Russia has regularly targeted Ukrainian power stations in recent weeks

The strike comes as Moscow rejects a peace deal for Ukraine. Russia rejects the idea and wants Kyiv to acknowledge Russia’s annexation of four territories. Russia has regularly targeted Ukrainian power stations in recent weeks. People in the country are suffering as a result of power outages in the bitter weather. While Ukraine claims that Russian attacks have killed civilians, Moscow has denied targeting them on several occasions.

According to Kyrylo Tymoshenko, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s deputy chief of staff, Russian shelling hit the maternity wing of a hospital in Kherson on Wednesday, but no one was injured. Tymoshenko claimed in a Telegram post that staff and patients had been relocated to a refuge.

In a video message, Zelensky advised Ukrainians to hug their loved ones more regularly, tell their friends how much they appreciate them, support coworkers, thank their parents, and celebrate with their children more often.

“We have not lost our humanity, although we have endured terrible months,” he said. “And we will not lose it, although there is a difficult year ahead.”
