The combatants from Syria to be sent to Ukraine are from the pro-regime militia and the regular army. According to the observatory, Syrian army members are going to get a salary of $1,100 for fighting in Ukraine. Russia has also promised $7,700 as compensation for injuries. Additionally, reports reveal that their families are going to get $16,500 if they are killed in combat.
