California, or Ayodhya? The Indian community in California’s Silicon Valley organized a large rally ahead of the Ram Mandir’s ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. More than 1,100 enthusiastic participants attended a massive car rally in the Bay Area, carrying saffron banners with images of the Ram temple.
Devotees, who had been granted valid police permission, danced joyfully in various locations, accompanied by traditional instruments such as the dhol nagara. The rally, organized by six dedicated Hindu volunteers, spanned more than 150 kilometers and ended in Fremont, in the Bay Area.
Hundreds of Teslas, with their lights synced in a mesmerizing dance, took center stage at a pre-Ram Mandir celebration, attracting participants from all over who coordinated online. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on his way to the big ceremony on Monday. The grand consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will take place at noon IST (1:30 AM EST).

The grand celebration extended to New York’s iconic Times Square, where the Indian diaspora gathered to illuminate the well-known location in honor of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Attendees wore traditional attire and participated in joyful activities such as dancing and singing bhajans and other songs.
