PM Modi visits mother in hospital in Ahmedabad; doctors say she is in stable condition

Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India, paid a visit to his mother Heeraben Modi on Wednesday at the Ahmedabad, Gujarat-based UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Center.

Heeraben was brought to the hospital earlier in the day after experiencing some pain, and the physicians reported that her status is stable.

A statement issued by the hospital said, “Hon’ble Prime Minister’s mother is admitted at the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre, Ahmedabad and her health condition is stable.”

This year, Heeraben Modi turned 100 on June 18. Frequently, Prime Minister Modi sees his mother. On December 4, Modi recently visited with her to ask for her approval before the second and final round of voting in the Gujarat assembly elections.

On Tuesday afternoon in Mysuru, Karnataka, the Prime Minister’s brother Prahlad Damodar Das Modi, and his family were hurt in a vehicle accident. The family was driving their automobile to Bandipur. The motorist lost control and collided with the road divider, causing the collision.

Prahlad Damodar Das Modi sustained a chin injury. Additionally hurt were the driver Satyanarayana, his daughter-in-law Jinal Modi, grandson Menat Mehul Modi, age 6, and his son Mehul Prahlad Modi. They were received in Mysuru’s JSS Hospital. The injured were moving from the intensive care unit to the regular ward, according to hospital officials on Wednesday. On the other hand, according to hospital sources who spoke to IANS, Prahlad and his family will stay in Mysuru for an extra two days after being released, while his grandson will continue to get treatment through Thursday.
