Paris Hilton tells US Congress she was 'force-fed medications and sexually abused in foster care during her childhood

Paris Hilton lay her heart exposed in a recent House committee hearing, opening up in detail for the first time about the cruelty and neglect she experienced in foster care during her childhood. Paris, a well-known socialite and businesswoman, discussed her terrible experience in one of the foster care facilities she was placed in and how it reflects on America’s foster care system. Her emotive and impassioned argument hoped to persuade Congress to launch an overhaul of the system and better the lives of children in foster care who face similar challenges.

She claimed being physically and emotionally tortured throughout her years at a Utah boarding school for troubled teens. She said she was forced medication, was physically restrained on several occasions, and was sexually abused by staff.

Here’s what Paris revealed

Paris told Congress: “When I was 16 years old, I was ripped from my bed in the middle of the night and transported across state lines to the first of four youth residential treatment facilities.” She went on to say, “These programs promised healing, progress, and support, but for two years, they denied me the ability to talk, move freely, or even look out a window. The staff forced me to take drugs and molested me sexually. I was violently restrained, taken down halls, stripped naked, and placed in solitary confinement.” While all of this persisted throughout her adolescence, Paris did not blame her parents for putting her in the system. She said that her parents, Rick Hilton and Kathy Hilton, were “deceived” and “manipulated”.

This is not the first time Paris has called for school reform in the United States, and he has advocated for legislation that would shield children from the “inhumane money-making industry.” Paris Hilton revealed the alleged atrocities she suffered at Provo Canyon School in her 2020 YouTube documentary, This Is Paris. She called for a rally to take down the school. She continues to call on Congress to address the needs of foster and adoptive youngsters.
