The 5 most believed conspiracy theories of all time

Conspiracy exists everywhere-in the corporate world, the government, and everyday life. The word conspiracy triggers an edge. It can range from the false moon mission to Bigfoot cryopreserved in an underground bunker. Here are the most believable conspiracy theories of all time.

New world order and global domination

This one is an age-old tale! The New World Order conspiracy theory thinks that a giant mega government will take over and rule the world. Organizations like Illuminati and even the UN, World Bank, or Bilderberg Group might achieve a worldwide single government system. What’s more? Leaders like the US president, European royalty, and David Rockefeller might be a part of a shadow government.

FEMA concentration camps and anti-government activists

People believe that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), has Nazi-like ulterior motives. Members of the modern-day patriots’ movement allege that FEMA conspired with the UN and established concentration camps across the US. They claim that the engineered fall of the government will lead to activists and people tortured in these camps.

CIA created AIDS to clear out the gays and blacks

HIV AIDS is a deadly sexually transmitted disease. It is a commonly known fact today but, it was not so in the 1980s. People believed that the CIA engineered the virus to reduce the colored and gay populations in the US. Why did this fear arise? In the 80s, people feared that one could get AIDS by sharing food or touching an infected person. Moreover, the disease was more common among minority groups and gay men.

FDR Was Aware Of Pearl Harbor

The deadly bomb attacks on Pearl Harbor rocked the US long before 9/11. Despite staying away from Europe’s World War II, the Pearl Harbor event led President Roosevelt to join the Allied forces.

A book and declassified documents stated, FDR was aware of the disastrous Pearl Harbor attack three days before it happened. “Believed the Japanese were contemplating a military action of some sort, but they were kind of in denial because they didn’t think anybody would be as audacious to move army thousands of miles across the Pacific, stop to refuel, then move on to Hawaii to make a strike like this,” said Craig Shirley, the author of December 1941: 31 days that changed America and saved the world.

One of the most common conspiracy theories: The Moon Landing Never Happened

Neil Armstrong’s walk on the moon in 1969 is legendary. The one small step for mankind was a giant step for conspiracy theorists across the world. In the era where nations fought to be the first to step on the moon, the US won. But, the flag waved and, shadows did not seem normal, in addition to many more issues with the image. Scientists offered explanations for the flag wave but, the theory that it was all a fake is still around.

You might want to say these are just theories. But, conspiracy theorists would tell you that’s what “they” want you to think.
