According to fresh surveys, Democrats voted for former First Lady Michelle Obama to succeed Biden and run for President. According to a Rasmussen Reports poll, approximately 48% of Democrats want to remove Biden from the Democratic ticket and support the party’s search for another candidate to replace the sitting president before the November elections.
38 percent of Democrats oppose a ballot change, while 33 percent believe a ballot shakeup ahead of November is likely. According to the Rassmunsen survey, former First Lady Michelle Obama garnered 20% of the votes as the top contender to replace Biden on the ballot. President Obama was followed by Vice President Kamala Harris, former Secretary of State and First Lady Hillary Clinton, California Governor Gavin Newsom, and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

According to the poll, Michelle Obama garnered 20% of the vote, while Vice President Harris received approximately 15%. Twelve percent of Democrats voted for Hillary Clinton, hoping for a rematch with Donald Trump in 2016. The California Governor won 11 percent of the votes, while Michigan Governor Whitman received nine percent. According to the study, 27% of Democrats chose “none of the above,” while 6% are “unsure” about who should succeed Biden.
Rumors of Michelle Obama joining the ballot have circulated, owing to concerns about Biden’s age and cognitive ability. However, the former first lady has consistently declared her intention to stay out of politics. The US elections in 2024 are scheduled for November 5. Biden and Trump are poised to face off again in the 2024 presidential race. Currently, Biden is behind Donald Trump in national polls.
