New observations from Kyiv’s Main Astronomical Observatory and the National Academy of Science reveal an excessive number of UFOs in the sky. Read to know more about the new development.
Kyiv observes UFOs in the Ukrainian skies
As per a recent preprint study released by Kyiv’s main astronomical observatory, experts are looking to the skies and observing a huge amount of Unidentified flying objects (UFOs). The publication is in collaboration with Ukraine’s National Academy of Science (NAS). “We see them everywhere. We observe a significant number of objects whose nature is not clear,” stated a researcher. The essay titled ‘Unidentified aerial phenomena I’ reveals events observed by scientists from data from the NAS’s main astronomical observatory at Kyiv and Vinarivka. Vinarivka is a Ukrainian village in the south of the capital city. The authors claim that due to their interest in the situation, the observatories took up looking for UFOs as a separate initiative.
More on the new development
During the study, the researchers separated the phenomenon into two groups- cosmics and phantoms. “We note that cosmics are luminous objects, brighter than the background of the sky. We call these ships names of birds (swift, falcon, eagle). Phantoms are dark objects, with contrast from several to about 50 percent,” revealed the study. Scientists are “not clear” about these objects. However, a simple explanation may call them missiles, rockets, or other weapons used during the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
For a long time, the Pentagon has been speculating, hinting, and warning that some UFOs may be cutting-edge military technology from foreign militaries. While this particular study does not address the war, it is noteworthy. It demonstrates how science has been advancing during war times. Responding to Congress’ requests for information, the Pentagon stated it observed an odd phenomenon. However, they require more resources and time to thoroughly investigate them. After Congress granted it, the Pentagon activated an investigation of the mysterious UFOs.
