Earlier today, a royal source suggested that Kate Middleton might “not appear in public for the rest of the year” due to her ongoing cancer treatment. However, the insider also hinted at the possibility that the palace could release a second video to counteract the “conspiracy theorists.”
“I would not rule out another video message updating the country on her health,” the royal insider informed Daily Beast. “That proved to be a very effective way of keeping the conspiracy theorists at bay.”

While discussing when Kate might resume her public duties, the royal insider informed the outlet, “Lots of people involved in planning need to know what all the principals are doing a long way in advance. I am told that Kate’s diary for this year is empty.”
“There is nothing planned. She may not appear in public for the rest of the year.” The insider’s comments were made during #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, coinciding with a post about a film featuring Sam Stables from We Are Farming Minds and Farmer Will, discussing mental health in the farming community and the Duchy of Cornwall’s Mental Health Strategy.
Prince William also gave a nod to Kate’s well-being around the same time, with Prince Charles mentioning that Kate is “doing well.” When asked about his wife and children by Julie Cain, the duke responded, “All doing well, thank you. Yes, we’re doing well.”
Despite King Charles III resuming his royal duties while battling cancer, Kate has not done the same. A royal insider emphasized that the Princess of Wales is “in a very different position” compared to Charles. Daily Mail Online reported, “No one wants to put any pressure on Catherine.” “The only thing that matters at the moment is her getting better. She has been through an ordeal this year.
