“BTS’ eldest member Jin has finished his mandatory military service. He was discharged from the military on June 12. As he walked through the Army Division, his fellow BTS members – RM, J-hope, V, Jungkook, Jimin, and Suga – warmly welcomed him.
In a viral video, BTS leader RM is seen playing the saxophone while Jimin gives Jin a friendly pat on his back. Numerous photos and videos of their emotional reunion have circulated online, including one where the entire group poses for a picture with ‘Jin is back’ balloons placed on the wall.

He began counting down three to four months before his discharge from mandatory military service in South Korea. His real name, Kim Seok-jin, saw him enter the military in December 2022. On Weverse, Jin simply posted, “D-100,” sparking excitement among eager fans. One fan tweeted, ‘Can’t wait for him to return,’ while another expressed, ‘Just a little more patience, Jinie. Just 100 days more, and you’re back. Our Moon is going to come home soon.’ Fans eagerly awaited Jin’s return, anticipating his trademark dad jokes and humor.
