This week, a flood of court documents about the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were made public—one batch per day since Wednesday—after being kept secret for years.

The documents reveal the names of numerous wealthy, famous, and/or influential individuals who were linked to the financier and paedophile, including royalty, politicians, billionaires, and renowned scientists.

The records list over 170 people who had a relationship with Epstein, either as victims or former employees. The remainder of the documents are expected to be released shortly.

Previously, the people associated with the convicted criminal were only identified as “John Does” and “Jane Does,” but now their identities are revealed for the first time after a federal judge decided to unseal the records in December.

Alan Dershowitz, Epstein’s lawyer and friend, defended those associated with the sex trafficker, stating, “None of us knew about his private life that he kept so secret.”

“You could judge them for poor judgment, but you can’t conclude that any accusations against them are true until you hear the evidence,” the former Harvard Law School professor said on Tuesday before the first set of documents were released.

According to recently released court documents, one of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims claimed that former President Donald Trump had “sexual relations” with one of her friends at the deceased sex offender’s New York home.

Sarah Ransome, the victim, also stated in a series of emails in 2016 that she had tapes of Epstein’s prominent associates—such as Trump, former President Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and British tycoon Richard Branson—having sex with an unidentified woman.
