Madelaine Brockway and Jacob LaGrone’s opulent wedding turned them into TikTok stars overnight, but the groom’s criminal allegations have overshadowed their wedding joy. Brockway, a Florida auto dealership heiress, rose to prominence almost overnight with her lavish wedding. The lavish five-day Paris event, the “wedding of the century,” included an overnight stay at the Palace of Versailles and a private concert by Maroon 5.

Jacob LaGrone, 29, is facing a possible life sentence for shooting at police officers

Brockway, 27, has since made her Instagram and TikTok accounts private. Her husband, Jacob LaGrone, 29, is facing a possible life sentence for shooting at police officers, according to The New York Post. He was charged with aggravated assault on a public official on March 14 after reportedly firing at three cops in Texas. When LaGrone shot at the Westworth Village police officers, they were responding to various reports of a disturbance. In Texas, aggravated assault against a public worker is a first-degree felony.

According to the indictment, LaGrone “intentionally and knowingly threatened imminent bodily harm” to the police and “used or displayed a deadly weapon, namely a firearm, during the commission of the assault.” On November 30, he appeared in Tarrant County Court in Fort Worth and could face life in prison if convicted. His wife, Madeline Brockway, did not appear in court. Madeline Brockway is the daughter of Bob Brockway, the owner of Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Florida. Her opulent wedding, at which she wore a Dior gown, was believed to cost $56 million.
