House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other leaders can be seen reacting aggressively to the situation in a fresh video that was released Thursday by the investigation panel looking into the Capitol incident on January 6. Pelosi is visible hiding in a secure area as rioters occupy the Capitol building. Alexandra Pelosi, a documentary filmmaker who is Pelosi’s daughter, captured everything on camera.
“There has to be some way,” she can be seen telling colleagues. “We can maintain the sense that people have that there is some security or some confidence that government can function and that you can elect the president of the United States.”

Then, in preparation for a breach, MPs can be seen donning tear gas masks on the House floor. Do you think this is true? Rep. Jim Clyburn of South Carolina, a different Democratic leader, was addressed by Pelosi in shock.

At one point, she can even be heard saying, “If he comes, I’m gonna punch him out,” referring to Donald Trump. “I’ve been waiting for this,” she goes on to say in response to being told that the Secret Service had dissuaded Trump from going to the Capitol.
We’re coming in if you don’t bring her out, a rioter can be seen yelling and gesturing outside of her office. Senator Chuck Schumer, the majority leader in the Senate, then led the speaker into a room and announced, “I’m going to call up the effin’ secretary of DoD.”

The video demonstrates the actual situation within the structure as well as how unprepared several institutions were to handle the issue at hand. They are heard yelling at Trump.
In the video, Pelosi and Schumer engage in negotiations with governors and defense officials in an effort to send the National Guard to the Capitol since the police were stranded and suffering from the rioters’ savage assaults. Trump did little to stop the assailants it took the National Guard hours to get to the Capitol.

“As the president watched the bloody attack unfold on Fox News from his dining room, members of Congress and other government officials stepped into the gigantic leadership void created by the president’s chilling and steady passivity that day,” said Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland, a committee member.
Chris Miller, the acting defense secretary, was instructed to dispatch the Maryland National Guard by Schumer. Pelosi informs Schumer that they are breaking the law in several ways, “and quite honestly, much of it at the instigation of the president of the United States.”
