Elon Musk, the CEO of both Twitter and Tesla, has declared that he will file a lawsuit against Jack Sweeney, the college student who operated the now-suspended Twitter account that followed the billionaire’s private plane trips. This happened after Mr. Musk disclosed that his son, who was in a car, had been stalked at night by a “crazy stalker.”
The Tesla CEO announced on Thursday that a Twitter account that publishes anyone’s current location in real-time will be shut down. “Any account doxxing real-time location info of anyone will be suspended, as it is a physical safety violation. This includes posting links to sites with real-time location info,” Elon Musk wrote.
“Posting locations someone traveled to on a slightly delayed basis isn’t a safety problem, so is ok,” the tweet further read.
In a second tweet, Elon Musk revealed that someone had followed the car transporting his 2-year-old son X A-12 last night because they believed the Twitter CEO was inside. “Last night, a car carrying Lil X in LA was followed by a crazy stalker (thinking it was me), who later blocked the car from moving and climbed onto the hood. Legal action is being taken against Sweeney & organizations who supported harm to my family,” he wrote. (https://uniforumtz.com)
Later, Elon Musk posted a video showing a person in a car wearing a mask. In the video, a person sitting inside a white automobile is seen wearing a black hoodie and mask. The footage also displays the car’s license plate. Mr. Musk enquired, “Does anyone recognize this person or car?”
On Wednesday, Twitter disabled the bot account that followed Elon Musk’s air travel. Creator Jack Sweeney tweeted from his personal account, which is also currently suspended, saying, “Well it appears @ElonJet is suspended.”
