Elon Musk was accused of sexual misconduct & SpaceX paid $250,000

The richest man in the world and the founder of SpaceX & Tesla, Elon Musk has allegedly paid a flight attendant $250,000. This hush money was paid by SpaceX to settle a sexual misconduct claim against Musk, Insider reported. (Tramadol)

The settlement took place in 2018 according to the attendant’s friend.

Musk is said to have requested a “full body massage”

The attendant worked on a contract basis as a cabin member on SpaceX’s corporate jet fleet. She has accused Musk of exposing himself and rubbing her leg without consent.

Musk is said to have requested a full body massage. He promised to buy the flight attendant a horse if she would “do more”.

The flight attendant was reportedly encouraged to pay for professional massage training out of her own cash so that she could better assist Musk during flights, according to Insider.

Following the event, her companion claimed that SpaceX reduced the number of shifts she was assigned, which the attendant interpreted as vengeance. The attendant claimed that her career is suffering as a result of the rejection and took the complaint to the HR department.

The firm carried the complaint to a mediator rather than a court.

This incident took place in 2016 and it is allegedly mentioned in a declaration signed by the attendant’s friend and prepared in support of her claim. As per the Insider, the story is drawn from the declaration as well as other documents, including email correspondences.

Musk denied the claims insisting that there is “a lot more to this story”

Musk has dismissed the allegations and claimed that the story is politically motivated and that there’s a lot more to the story.

He also added, “If I were inclined to engage in sexual harassment, this is unlikely to be the first time in my entire 30-year career that it comes to light,”.
