Elon Musk, the Tesla CEO, tweeted an unsettling message about his death on Monday, May 9, eliciting a variety of emotions. Musk, who is famous for his offbeat tweets, said on Monday, “If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowin ya.”

Elon Musk’s “death” tweet came barely two hours after he issued what looked to be a news release claiming that his Starlink satellite communication equipment was assisting Ukrainian soldiers.

Musk had also shared a post that appeared to be a communication from a Russian commander. Thus, claiming to be a part of “supplying the fascist forces in Ukraine with military communication equipment”.

The equipment was then supplied to Ukraine by the Pentagon, the US Department of Defense’s headquarters, according to the letter.

When a minister from the war-torn country reached out, Musk’s company SpaceX launched its Starlink satellite internet service in Ukraine in February.

Many internet users also responded by suggesting that the Tesla CEO is essential to “reform the world”.
