Dr. Michael Mosley: British doctor who popularized intermittent fasting found dead in Greece

British TV presenter and renowned healthy living advocate Michael Mosley has been found dead on the Greek island of Symi, as confirmed by the island’s deputy mayor, Nikitas Grillis, on Sunday. Mosley, 67, had been missing since Wednesday after embarking on a solo walk along a coastal path in scorching heat.

Search and discovery

Police spokeswoman Constantina Dimoglidou initially reported that a body believed to be Mosley’s was discovered in the area of Agia Marina, pending formal identification. The body was later confirmed by the deputy mayor. “The mayor of the island and a state TV ERT journalist were filming the area of Agia Marina when they spotted the body. It is certainly him,” Grillis stated.

Contrary to earlier reports suggesting Mosley was found in a cave, another police official clarified that his body was located on rocky terrain close to the sea. Authorities are currently investigating the scene.
