The New York Post claimed on Tuesday that Don Lemon had requested Elon Musk for a free space ride to host a podcast there. This comes after the ousted CNN host’s show on X, the platform that was previously known as Twitter, was canceled last week. The 58-year-old lambasted Musk for being ‘the most delicate snowflake’ while raving about the X owner.
Musk canceled ‘The Don Lemon Show’ on X shortly after the former television anchor interviewed the billionaire, which was scheduled to be the show’s inaugural episode. Lemon shared the video on practically all major channels days late
Don Lemon had a list of demands in exchange for his show on X
While neither Musk nor Lemon have acknowledged whether the former CNN anchor had a list of demands in exchange for his show on X, multiple sources suggest the latter requested an $8 million salary, a $5 million upfront payment, a Tesla cyber truck, equity in X, and the ability to approve any changes to the platform. The 58-year-old’s spokesman denied the New York Post’s story.
“This is absolute, complete utter nonsense without an iota of truth to it,” Lemon’s representative said.
On Tuesday, the New York Post reported that Don Lemon asked for a free SpaceX ride. He wanted to host a podcast in space. “First podcast in space to be hosted by Don (via SpaceX),” the media outlet cited a bulletin as reading. Don Lemon has not reacted to the claim.
Last week, the fired CNN host declared that ‘Elon Musk is mad at me’.”Throughout our conversation, I kept reiterating to him that although it was tense at times, I thought it was good for people to see and hear our exchange and that they would learn from our conversation,” he added.
