According to reports from Yonhap, North Korea launched a ballistic missile into the Sea of Japan. The reports from the South Korean news agency cited the Republic of Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff. Despite stating that North Korea launched an unidentified missile, the South Korean military did not provide additional details.
