According to reports, Russian soldiers have been using Tinder to find romance with Ukrainian women as the US says an invasion is looming.

Women in Kharkiv, the Ukrainian city that appears to be the first target for a Russian invasion of the country, claim they have been bombarded with messages. Kharkiv is approximately 50 miles from Vladimir Putin’s troops.

Many soldiers also likely revealed their crucial positions through photos they put out in the hopes of finding love.

According to The Sun, dozens of Russians, including Andrei, Alexander, Gregory, and Michail, have revealed their profiles in an attempt to seduce local women.

Dasha Synelnikova updated her location to Kharkiv. After that, she began to receive a lot of interest on Tinder from enemy forces.

The 33-year-old told The Sun that she used to live in Kyiv. But that when she relocated to the city in eastern Ukraine, she saw a lot of photos of Russian soldiers who appeared “tough and cool.”

She said: “One muscular guy posed up trying to look sexy in bed posing with his pistol. Another was in full Russian combat gear and others just showed off in tight stripy vests.

“I didn’t find any of them attractive and would never consider sleeping with the enemy. I automatically swiped left to reject them. But there were so many I got curious and got into a message exchange.”

Exchanges on the dating app

She claimed she exchanged chats with a 31-year-old Russian named Andrei, who was posing with a Kalashnikov pistol.

Andrei mentioned in a discussion that he was 80 kilometers from Kharkiv and would want to visit. But Russian men haven’t been welcome since 2014.

Dasha questioned if he was from the military or not. Then, he told her how much he wanted to see Europe but how difficult it was to obtain a visa.

As Dasha was inundated with messages, there were many similar exchanges on the dating app.
