The world event’s organizers wanted Adele and Ed Sheeran to sing for King Charles’ Coronation, which has a date fixed. The two, though, appear to have rejected the request. The Coronation is expected to take place on May 6. The following day, on May 7, there will be a celebratory weekend in addition to it. According to Charles, Adele and Ed Sheeran were at the top of his list. Ed Sheeran reportedly declined the invitation to perform because he will be doing it the day before the Coronation performance in Texas. Adele has reportedly denied it without offering any other details, though.
There haven’t been any other musicians’ names mentioned than Ed Sheeran and Adele
According to reports, “There is a team set up to get the talent signed up, so they approached the two of them but got replies saying that they were unavailable, which was a massive disappointment. They are titans of the showbiz industry and are quintessentially British, but also known across the globe. It’s such a shame.”
There haven’t been any other musicians’ names mentioned other than Ed Sheeran and Adele. The Spice Girls and Lionel Richie are most likely to attend, however, this has not been confirmed. Harry Styles might succeed as well. Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are another couples whose names are absent from the list. Nobody is certain if they will be invited or show up.
