Bayhan Mutlu, a 50-year-old Turkish man, went missing from the remote neighborhood of Ayyaka in the city of Negöl, a few days ago, leaving authorities perplexed. It can be called a tale of the drunk man who participated in his own search.
On the day in question, Beyhan was said to have been drinking with his buddies. Then, he had walked into the woods.
He didn’t return to the neighborhood, though, causing anxiety among his friends, who alerted the authorities. Multiple teams conducted search and rescue operations from the Bursa region.
But, in the end, the hunt for the missing guy was successful, but with an unexpected twist.
The afterword of Beyhan’s disappearance went around his neighborhood. A large number of friends and neighbors joined the search party in the hopes of finding him sooner.
The rescue teams were continuously shouting out his name in the woods, according to local news site NTV. However, someone in the group then stated, “Who are we looking for? I am here.” It was none other than Beyhan himself.
The 50-year-old drunk man had, believe it or not, participated in his search effort for himself.
There are photographs of Beyhan alongside other members of the rescue crew, according to Vaziyet. The teams prepared a report about the search and left the missing person at his home.
Everyone on the search and rescue teams was in shock to learn that Beyhan was with them the entire time.
Beyhan was allegedly unaware that his buddies reported him missing. It’s also unclear how his friends missed him during the search party. Thus, the drunk man participated in his own search.

A woman who visited Iceland in 2012 also experienced something extremely similar.
The woman was a part of a massive mountain search for a missing tourist. However, she confirmed to the authorities that she was the individual who had been reported missing.
The strange search took place in the Eidgja canyon in Iceland’s southern volcanic zone.
