Rishi Sunak is married to Akshata Murthy, the daughter of Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy.
In 2015, Sunak was elected as a Member of Parliament (MP) in Richmond, Yorkshire. He took oath as MP from Yorkshire, on the Bhagavad Gita in the Parliament. He was the first UK parliamentarian to do so.
