Despite being a mini-auction, IPL 2024 auction broke many records in terms of money shelled out to bag star players

Mitchell Starc became the most expensive player in league's history when KKR bagged the left-arm quick for Rs 24.75 crore.

New Zealand all-rounder Rachin Ravindra, the star of the ODI World Cup, failed to arouse much interest. Chennai Super King paid Rs 1.8 crore for his services.
