The alleged UFO was sighted over the Imphal airport at around 2:30pm on Sunday, after which several commercial flights were affected.

UFO sighting triggered several flight delays on Sunday

Some flights also got diverted, with an IndiGo flight from Kolkata initially ordered "to hold overhead" before getting diverted to Guwahati instead. Another flight from Delhi was diverted to Kolkata.
